Creamy curry wraps stuffed with vegetables. These wraps are Asian-inspired and are the perfect make-ahead lunch. The wraps taste even better the next day because the flavors are more infused into the chickpeas.
I’ve got a make-ahead lunch idea for you guys today. And it’s vegan! Yup, again. I’ve shared quite some vegan recipes with you guys (brownies, sushi, frappucino) so far but I’ve got to tell you I’m not vegan (yet) though. Currently, I don’t believe in a “one-way”-diet. I like to eat healthy by eating different kinds of meals; sometimes I eat vegan, sometimes vegetarian and on other days I eat meat/fish/poultry. I was inspired to create this recipe when I wanted to make a satisfying on-the-go meal for my dear little sister. She tries to eat vegan most of the time so I was determined to make a delicious vegan meal for her. I’m happy to say, she liked the wraps. Even my bf liked these wraps! And therefor, I need to share it with you guys too.
Easy “sushi” rolls (maki) filled with plant-based ingredients. These rolls make a healthy lunch or snack.
Basic ramen stirfry with juicy chicken thighs, thin strips of omelette and plenty of veggies. I used green beans but you can use any vegetable you like. Ready in less than 30 minutes!
I’m a noodles addict. I love eating noodles for lunch and I love eating it for dinner. If I could, I’d eat it for breakfast. However, I also love sleep. Sleep trumps noodles for breakfast. Sorry. (Anyone with me?) I love noodle soups, but unless the noodle soup is called “Pho”, dry/stir fried noodles are my absolute favorite. Even with instant noodles, I prefer the “dry” kind. For those of you who are just like me, I’m sharing my basic chicken ramen stir fry recipe today. It’s a basic, very easy ánd so versatile recipe. Depending on your taste, you can add more flavor to the sauce, add more/different veggies and/or use a completly different noodle. I just happen to love “fresh” ramen. Make sure the noodle you want to use is suitable for stir frying. Some noodles are only suitable for soups and will turn to mush if you try to use it for stir frying. In addition to the noodles and vegetables, you can also swap the chicken for beef, pork or a vegetarian alternative. Even meatless is an option. You could make a different noodle dish for every day of the week with this basic recipe! I try to keep it to once per week though: My bf and I love noodles so much we eat about two servings each whenever I make this dish. #fatcouple Read more
These gorgeous VEGAN wraps are packed with color (vitamins!!) and flavor. They’re perfect for lunch, but you can easily serve these as an healthy dinner too. Even meat-eaters will love this.
Recently, my younger sister decided to start eating vegan. As I want to support her in whatever she does, I decided to incorporate a bit of vegan into my life/blog too. I guess she inspired me a bit too. Inspired me to be more conscious of all the kinds of food I mindlessly stuff into my body (which is a lot!). And also, you know, how bad could it be to eat vegan a couple of times a week? I don’t think anyone has ever died from cutting down on meat anyway. So in light of this “new diet”, I wanted to share a vegan lunch recipe I developed with you guys today: Vegan Tofu Lunch Wraps. FYI: These wraps have been approved by my vegan sister ánd my meat-loving boyfriend. Read more
Classic Chinese take-out dish made in your own kitchen! Easy as take-out, but better in taste. No MSG. (Unless you want to add MSG, ofcourse)
I’ve told you guys this in my last vlog, but I think I’m addicted to renovation programs. I just finished “Property Brothers” and I’m hung up on “Fixer Upper” as we speak
type. I’ve been watching these two programs every.single.day for the past few weeks now. I know there’s a lot of controversy around these programs and that people think it’s fake, but I don’t really care. I just love watching the house transformations. Makes me want to take up on a fixer upper. Isn’t that hilarious?! I really shouldn’t though. I’d probably get sick from stress halfway through the project ánd hurt myself a gazillion times haha.. It’s good to have dreams and goals though. Read more
