Brr.. It’s so cold right now in The Netherlands. To be honest, the weather isn’t too bad for this time of the year but we recently found out the heating of our apartment isn’t working. Restoring will cost us a couple of hundred euros. Now, the costs isn’t even our biggest problem. Nope. Because we have floor heating, we’ll have to remove everything from our apartment to be able to restore the heating/floor… That’s a whole lot of time and work! And as we’re planning on buying a house in the near future, we decided to die of cold (okay that’s over-dramatic lol) for one winter rather than investing time, money ánd effort on an apartment that’s rental. I guess less heating is better for the environment too so win-win? Hehe… Also, we discovered the heat of our oven is able to keep our living room (open kitchen) semi-warm so it looks like I’ll have to do some extra baking this winter. BBQ Chicken Nachos

My boyfriend and I are usually both quite busy throughout the week. That’s why we try to spend quality time in the weekends. Whenever “movie night” is planned, this is one of my (and his) FAVORITE dishes: BBQ chicken nachos. Easy, quick and super super delicious. Guaranteed crowd pleaser. This is one recipe you can’t miss.


My gosh, doesn’t this photo looks GORGEOUS? As I’m writing this, I’m salivating all over again. And you are too. I know it. Don’t be shy to admit it 😉 Now, I’ve shared my Asian Style Nachos with you guys before, but today’s nachos might be my new favorite. BBQ-sauce, chicken and lots of good melty cheese. Oh, and don’t forget the sour cream. Sour cream is love. Tell me, who can resist this? In addition, nachos are so e-a-s-y to make. Really, trust me. By adding just a couple of ingredients, you turn simple (boring) chips into a true foodgasm. Pork and Cabbage Dumplings

These homemade pork and cabbage dumplings are perfect to serve as a snack or for lunch with other dim sum dishes. Pan-fry these in some oil or steam for a healthier version.


It’s dumpling time again! There’s just something about dumplings that make me so excited (and hungry). Especially pan-fried dumplings (pot-stickers). It’s probably the crunchy part that makes me go wild. I’m a sucker for crunchy. How about you? I mean, don’t get me wrong: Steamed dumplings are definitely good too and they make me feel a bit healthier when I eat them instead of pan-fried hehe… But biting into a soft filling and hitting that golden brown crunchy bottom.. Oh man, that’s drugs on a plate, right there. Somebody better call the police. Honestly, everyone has to try pan-fried dumplings at least once in their life.
