Vegan almond kruidnoten loaf cake with almond extract and Dutch “kruidnoten”. This cake is very light and fluffy. You can use gingersnaps or gingerbread crumbs instead of kruidnoten.
Did you enjoy my Sinterklaas recipes so far? There’s only one week left so we’ve come to my last Sinterklaas recipe of 2017. Boy, time flies when you’re having fun! This last recipe is a vegan almond kruidnoten loaf cake. It’s a fluffy loaf cake with soft chunks of kruidnoten and a strong almond flavor. Now, I’ll be honest with you guys: this vegan recipe isn’t healthy -it still contains sugar- but I promise you it’s definitely a delicious cake. Even if you’re vegan you can enjoy the holidays with yummy baked goodies. In addition, this cake is very easy to make (batter ready in less than 5 minutes!) and you need just a few simple ingredients. Read more
Fluffy, buttery muffins with a crunchy topping of crumbs and filled with soft pieces of apple. These spiced muffins are better than store-bought.
Here I go again with the muffins. Sorry -not so sorry-, I just love love love making muffins. They’re so easy to make and easy to eat on-the-go too. Today, I’ll show you how to make the best moist and fluffy apple muffins with a crunchy crumbly top. These muffins are loaded with cinnamon so they’re perfect for this season. For this recipe, I used Gala apples. Why? Because I had those on hand and was too lazy to take another trip to the supermarket lol. You can basically use any apples you like. Granny Smith’s would be great too. It just depends on what kind of apples you like. So be lazy like me and use whatever you have on hand. Read more
Lovely spiced loaf cake made with butter and stuffed with chocolate chips. This cake is perfect for fall. It will ease you into the holiday spirit.
My gosh guys, it’s already freezing cold again in The Netherlands! Haha, okay, I admit: I’m cold quite fast; we’re not even halfway Autumn yet and I’ve already pulled all my sweaters out of the closet. What to do when it’s actually winter? Wear even more layer, I guess? Might arrive at work like a Michelin Man by that time lol. Thank goodness there are also good things about this season. Beautiful things like baking. Like this spice loaf cake I baked last weekend. This cake will get you in the festive mood, guaranteed.
Crispy fries baked in the oven and royally flavored with a sweet chili mixture. Perfect to have on the side or to devour as an amazing cheat snack.
I’m not going to lie to you. I work out 3/4 days a week and I need it. Seriously. I’ve never been the girl that stays stick thin even if she eats like a pig. Well, when I was little I was stick thin, but that was because I didn’t eat anything ^^” But when i eat like a pig, I become a pig. Kudos if you’re different and “I feel your pain” if you’re anything like me. That being said, I love working out. Especially because working out means I get to eat more food. It’s probably my main motivation; food. Like today’s thick BAKED (I never fry food because of the forever greasy smell) SWEET CHILI fries. That’s right. Sweet chili. We’re going there. Not just ordinary fries, but CRISPY fries covered in a delicious mix of herbs and spices. You have to try this. Asap.
P.S: Try the sweet chili mix on potato chips too!
What are your favorite kind of fries?
Soft, fragrant burgers made from chickpeas. These burgers are full of flavor and are suitable for vegetarians too! Serve with (sweet potato) fries, chips or a healthy salad.
Burgers are one of my favorite cheat meals. And I don’t mean the McDonalds or Burger King burgers, but actual fresh homemade burgers. Juicy burgers with fresh cut tomatoes, crispy lettuce, a dollop of mayonnaise and ketchup, finished with a slice of melty cheddar cheese. Ohhh yum! Foodgasm 😉 I really love my meats. However, I do have my vegetarian moments sometimes. Just like last weekend, when we enjoyed Read more
