Tea Tag!

Today, I’m connecting with my fellow tea lovers by answering the questions to the Tea Tag! I love tea so this tag is perfect for me. (If you’re wondering, I drink the occasional coffee too). With special thanks to Olivia for tagging me 😉

1. When did you drink your first cup of tea? How was it?
Oh wow… when?! Uhm… ever since I can remember? When we were little, my sister got a picknick set as a present. And sometimes my mom would play tea time with us using that set. Yes, with real tea. 😀 We were quite little, but I can’t remember my first cup of tea.. It was that long ago. How it was? Awesome ofcourse. Mainly because I loved it when we did something together ^____^

2. With whom do you prefer to drink tea?
Anyone, no one. I don’t necessarily need company with tea. Tea is the company 😛 But it’s always nice to have a good conversation partner to go with tea ofcourse 😀

3. At what time of the day do you like to drink tea the most?
All day, all night. Not kidding. I’m a true tea lover.

4. What is your favorite flavor?
It depends on my mood, but usually green tea with a hint of lemon or “sterrenmunt”. The latter is lightly sweet, but if you hate licorice you probably won’t like it xD

5. How many times do you use your tea bag?
As often as possible. Until the tea tastes more like water than tea :’) The amount varies though. When I’m too lazy to get a tea bag holder, the tea bag is enough for 1-2 times; I leave the bag in the water while I drink it because I really dislike tea marks on my table and I don’t mind strong tea. When I do have a holder, probably ~4 times.

6. What’s your opinion on high-tea?
I love tea, I love baking, I love food in general. Need I say more? 😉 My favorite things to serve with (high) tea are green tea muffins, triple coconut cupcakes or a thick slice of  blueberry vanilla pound cake. Yum~~~ drooling as we speak I type.

7. Where do you buy your tea?
Uhm, at the supermarket. There’s a tea store in the city centre, but it’s way too expensive. I don’t love tea that much. Also, I need money for food. :’)

8. Do you like to try new flavors or do you stick with one?
A little bit of both. I’m definitely not shy when it comes to adding new tea flavors to my stash, but I’m never short on the “standard”  flavors either. Best of both worlds?9. Where do you keep your tea?
In an adorable tea tin I got from my sister when she visited China 😀 It had a variety of (expensive) real fruit tea and a load of sugar in adorable packets. That’s all gone though 😛

10. Do you have a separate tea box for guests?
No, there’s not enough space in my kitchen to have TWO tea boxes :’) The one I have at the moment is already stuffed.

11. If you could make up a tea flavor yourself, what would it be?
Uhmm.. It wouldn’t be original, because I love simple, clean, light, fruity tea flavors. Maybe dragonfruit tea. It probably exists already, but I’ve never tried it before and it’s one of my favorite fruits ♥

And that’s it! Again, thank you Olivia for tagging me ^^ I tag all of you readers who are tea-lovers! Drop me a message if you decide to do this tag too ♥

Love,

    1. Haha ach, ieder z’n eigen ding toch? 😉 Wat drink jij graag? ^^ (PS ik heb je bericht op Twitter gelezen, maar moet er nog op reageren -____-“)

  1. Very overdue reply, but it was so fun reading your tag ^_^ I also remember having a picnic set and always pretending to drink out of it. One time I was VERY daring and drank a bit orange juice out of it. Oooh how I felt like a rebel. :p I also use my tea bag as often as possible, gotta get the most out of it!! Your tea tin is sooooo cute! All my tea would never fit into that, I have a large box but most tea is still in the packaging from the supermarket because it doesn’t fit XD Dragonfruit tea sounds very interesting too. I’d try it for the name alone c:

    1. Hehe and here’s my overdue reply to your overdue reply ^^” We tried orange juice from the picnic set too! 😀 Oh how I love childhood memories <3 And yups, gotta drain that tea bag :') Also, I try to buy no more than 3-4 flavors at a time, because otherwise I'll buy too much! More than I can drink 😛 Oh and let me know if you ever run into dragonfruit tea, will ye? 😉
